Mrs. Sarah Ellena Quennell

At the age of 61 years, Mrs. Sarah Ellena Quennell, of 61, Grove-road, Rushden, died early on Wednesday morning, having been in failing health since her husband's death five years ago, and confined to bed for the last week.

A native of Kettering, Mrs. Quennell came to Rushden 35 years ago, moved to Leamington in 1929, and returned to Rushden five years ago. Her husband, Mr. Joseph Quennell, was well-known in Rushden, being for many years a steward at the West End Club. During their residence at Leamington Mr. and Mrs. Quennell were the proprietors of an inn.

The funeral is to take place on Saturday afternoon, and the service will be conducted at the house by the Rev. C. J. Keeler, minister of the Rushden Independent Wesleyan Church.
