Mr. Arthur Prigmore

Mr. A. Prigmore, Rushden
The death occurred on Wednesday, at the age of 83, of Mr. Arthur Prigmore, of 32, Station Road, Rushden, who for forty years had been connected with the St. John Ambulance Brigade.

A native of Carlton, Mr. Prigmore came to Rushden over sixty years ago and retired from the boot trade twenty years ago. For twenty years of his association with the St. John Ambulance Brigade he was motor transport officer. During the first World War he served in the Royal Naval Sick Berth Reserve.

A regular attender at Rushden Mission Church up to his death, Mr. Prigmore was caretaker there at one time.

He leaves a widow, two sons, one daughter and three grand-children.
