Miss Ella May Perkins

The funeral took place at Rushden on Wednesday of Miss Ella May Perkins, aged 30, only daughter of Mr and Mrs F Perkins, “Southfields”, Bedford-road, Rushden. Miss Perkins had been employed in the closing department of the Tecnic Boot Company, Rushden, since she left school, and was a member of the Park-road Baptist Church and of the Rushden Health and Rhythm Class.

A service was conducted at the house by the Rev T W Gill, Park-road Baptist minister, and the family mourners were Mr and Mrs F Perkins (father and mother), Messrs C Perkins and R Perkins (brothers), Mrs C Perkins (sister-in-law), Mrs K Godfrey, Mrs H Brown, Miss D Perkins, Mr and Mrs A Wildman, Mrs J Perkins, Mr and Mrs B Pendered, Mr and Mrs A Knight and Mrs C Pendered (uncles and aunts), Miss E Cross, Mrs F Paragreen, Miss W Willmott and Miss A Bailey (friends). Also present at the Rushden cemetery were Mr W C Tarry, managing director of the Tecnic Boot Company, and other friends.
