Mr. T. P. Panter, of Rushden

The death of Mr. Thomas Percy Panter, of 17, Washbrook Road, Rushden occurred suddenly on March 14th. Although he had been in indifferent health for a number of years, Mr. Panter was walking out the previous day. Aged 58 years, Mr. Panter was a native of Bozeat, but he lived in Rushden for practically the whole of his life.

For many years Mr. Panter played for the Rushden Mission Cricket Club, he and his brother being noted bowlers. He was at one time a member of the Wellingborough Road Mission Church, also being an associate member of the Spencer Park Bowling Club.

There is a widow, Mrs. Minnie Panter, s son, Mr. William Panter, and a daughter, Miss Mabel Panter.

The funeral took place on Saturday morning, the Rev. E. E. Bromage conducting a service at the house. The mourners were: Mrs. Minnie Panter and Mr. William Panter (widow and son), Mr. Harry Stenson and Miss Mabel Panter (friend and daughter), Mr. C. Panter and Mrs. E. Carrington, Mr. J. A. Panter and Mrs. L. Mackness (brothers and sisters), Mr. A. Carrington and Mrs. Jim Panter (brother-in-law and sister-in-law), Mrs. J. A. Panter and Mrs. L. Carrington (sister-in-law and niece)

Mr. Jim Panter (brother) who was indisposed was unable to be present at the funeral.
