Sudden Death at Rushden
Mr. J. H. Nunley, of Queen Street

The sudden death of Mr. John Henry Nunley, of 152, Queen Street, Rushden, occurred on Tuesday morning at his home.

Mr. Nunley, who was 69, was born at Raunds, but had lived in Rushden for over 35 years. Three years ago he had a stroke but recovered, from it and carried on with his tailoring business until twelve months ago, when he retired.

He was also a well-known figure at Rushden Baptist cricket matches, which he attended regularly, and he was at one time a keen cyclist. Nearly twenty years ago he had a leg amputated after an accident.

Those bereaved are Mr. Herbert Victor Nunley Mr. Russell Colin Nunley, and Mr. John Henry Nunley (sons), Mrs. Hilda Faulkner (daughter), one brother in Raunds and one sister in Australia.
