Mr. F. Noble, Rushden

Mr. Frederick Noble passed away on Monday at his residence, 1, Washbrook-road, Rushden. He was 86 years of age.

Mr. Noble had lived in Rushden for between 50 and 60 years and was a retired boot manufacturer. He was in partnership with Mr. Wm. Hewitt at a factory in Moor-road and later carried on by himself, retiring about 30 years ago.

Connected with the Independent Wesleyan Church for many years, he held certificates for 25 years' and 50 years' Sunday School service, for part of the time as superintendent.

Mr. Noble had been in failing health since the death of his wife in 1930, and had kept to his bed for the past five years. Eleven years ago his daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Fredk. Wm. Noble, returned from Canada to live with him.

Besides the daughter, one son, living in Vancouver, and a younger brother in South Africa are left. There are three grandsons and two granddaughters—one is with Army in India, another with Canadian Army in England, and the remainder live in Canada.

The funeral took, place on Thursday, the service being conducted at the home by the Rev. T. S. Kee.
