Obituary—The death occurred at the age of 65 years, on Monday, of Mr. Walter Newell, of 28 Duck-street. The deceased, who had been ill for over nine months, had been confined to his bed for 11 weeks. A native of Chelveston he had been a resident in Rushden for nearly 40 years. Mr. Newell was a pressman in the boot trade, and had been employed by Messrs. George Selwood and Co. Ltd., for 27 years. He was a member of the Rushden West End Club and the Chelveston Clubs. In addition to the widow, one son and daughter are bereaved.
