Obituary—Another old inhabitant of Rushden in the person of Mrs. Sarah Linnett, mother of Mr. Tom W. C. Linnett, of the firm of Clarke and Linnett, shoe manufacturer, of this place, passed away on Wednesday last. The deceased, who was 76 years of age, is the last of eight children, all of whom passed the allotted span of life. She was better known as Mrs. "Sally'' Linnett than by her exact baptismal name, and was not only one of the best known, but one of the most respected women in her native village. For some few weeks past she has not been expected to recover, and passed quietly away early on Wednesday morning last. She leaves three sons and two daughters to mourn her loss.
