Old Soldier Dies at Rushden

A member of Rushden Windmill Club, Mr. William Knight, of 7, Westbourne Grove, Rushden, passed away on Tuesday after a long illness. He was 56.

Born at Rushden, he became a boot worker and was employed for many years at the C.W.S. works. More recently he had worked for the Tecnic Boot Company. During the first world war he served as a driver in the R.A.S.C.

He was a bachelor and leaves his mother, Mrs. Rebecca Knight, three brothers and a sister.
