Mrs. Sargent Knight

The death took place yesterday at 11.30 a.m. of Mrs. Sargent Knight, of 50 Duck-street, aged 83. She leaves a husband and five children. Three of the sons, Messrs. F. S. Knight, W. E. Knight and Ernest Knight, are resident in Rushden, and the fourth son, Alfred lives in Irthlingborough. The daughter, Mrs. Amos Wright, is also resident in Rushden. The old lady had been ailing for some years. She was taken with a sudden stroke a week last Wednesday, and has been confined to her bed since then. She was a member of the Independent Wesleyan Church, Rushden. Mr. and Mrs. Sargent Knight had been married over 61 years. They have lived in the same house nearly 60 years.
