Funeral Sermon—At the Independent Wesleyan Chapel the Rev. T. G. Harper preached a sermon on Sunday evening from the words “And there shall be no night there”, making special reference to the sufferings and death of Mrs. James Jacques. There was a crowded congregation, the deceased being well known. The choir sang “The Vital Spark” at the close of the service.
