Mrs. Sarah Ann Hurst, aged 51, of Sussex-place, Higham-road, Rushden, died last Friday at Creaton Sanatorium, where she had been a patient for 16 months. She leaves one daughter, Mrs. Wright, of 6, George-street, Higham Ferrers.

The funeral took place at Higham Ferrers on Tuesday, the Rev P. Kirk (Vicar) conducting a service at the Pariah Church. The family mourners were Mr. R. Stokes (father), Mrs. K. Wright (daughter), Mrs. T. Breary and Mrs. C. Palmer (sisters), Mrs. S. Scott (aunt), Mr. K. Wright (son-in-law), Mr. W. Stokes and Miss A. Stokes (cousins).

Among the wreaths was one from other patients in the Surgical Ward at Creaton Sanatorium.

Funeral arrangements were carried out by the Co-operative Federal Funeral Service.
