Obituary—The death occurred on Monday of Mrs. Harriett Hodgkins of 15 Oswald-road, Rushden, at the age of 68 years. She had not been well for some time but the end occurred with tragic suddenness while she was working in the kitchen of her house. Mrs. Hodgkins was a native of Melchbourne but had lived in Rushden for 40 years since her marriage. She was an active member of St. Mary’s Parish Church and the Mothers’ Meeting. She leaves a husband and one son living in Rushden, one other son having been killed during the War, and one daughter living at home.
