FuneralThe funeral of the late Mr. Stephen Higgins, of “Breeze Villa” Court Estate, Rushden, took place on Thursday amid many manifestations of sympathy and respect. The deceased gentleman was 75 years of age, and passed away early on Monday morning, leaving a widow and family to mourn their great loss. The first part of the service was conducted at “Breeze Villa” by the Rev. R. C. Law, who also conducted the interment at the cemetery. The mourners were Mr. G. Higgins, Northampton (brother); Mr. John Higgins, Northampton (nephew); Mr. Richard Deacon (freinds, Mr. F. L. Heygate (nephew-in-law), Councillor C. E. Bayes (stepson), and Mr. R. Bayes (grand-stepson). Deceased was for many years in business as a draper at High-street South, Rushden.
