Nine years to the day after the death of her husband, Mrs. Ellen Harris, of 8, Kings-road, Rushden, widow of Mr. Thomas George Harris, passed away on Wednesday morning, aged 82 years. Mrs. Harris had suffered two month’s illness.

A native of Caldecott, near Higham Ferrers, Mrs. Harris came to live in Rushden nearly 40 years ago, and for many years had attended the Park-road Baptist Church.

A son, Mr. C. Harris, of Australia, and two daughters, Mrs. E. Hobbs (Rushden) and Mrs. W. Smith (Bedford), are bereaved.

The burial is to take place on Saturday afternoon, and the service, which is to be held at the home of Mrs. Hobbs, will be conducted by the Rev. T. W. Gill, minister of the Park-road Baptist Church.
