Miss Mary Elizabeth Hanger,

An employee of Messrs. Seddon and Arlidge's box factory since she left school, and a Sunday School teacher at the Park-road Baptist Church for a similar period, Miss Mary Elizabeth Hanger, of Rushden, died last week, and was buried on Saturday.

Miss Hanger, who was 46, had been ill since August at her home, 8, Bedford-road Cottages. A brother, Mr. G. Hanger, and three sisters, Mrs. B. A. Tiney and the Misses Mabel and Emma Hanger, are bereaved.

A native of Rushden, Miss Hanger had been a life-long member of the Park-road Baptist Church, and after attending the Sunday School became a teacher there.

The funeral service took place at the church, with the minister, the. Rev. T. W. Gill, officiating at the church and cemetery. Among the numerous wreaths was one from Miss Hanger's fellow workers at the factory and one from the scholars and teachers of the Sunday School.

The family mourners were: Mr. G. Hanger and Mrs. B. A. Tiney (brother and sister), Miss Mabel Hanger and Miss Emma Hanger (sisters), Mrs. E. Whitney and Mrs. A. Groom (aunt and niece), Mr. G. Groom and Miss R. Tiney (nephew and niece), Miss Joyce Groom and Mrs. G. Wadworth (friends).
