After being an invalid for 19 years through trouble caused in the last war, Mr. Jesse Bertram Gomm, of 50, Irchester-road, Rushden, passed away on Wednesday. He was 43.

A native of Higham Ferrers, Mr. Gomm had been living in Rushden since his marriage 23 years ago, and was a member of the British Legion and Windmill Club.

He leaves a widow and one son, Sapper L. Gomm, who is serving in the Middle East.

The burial is to take place tomorrow (Saturday) following a service at the house.
