Rushden Echo, 8th November 1918
Miss Hilda May Fletcher

DEATH OF MISS MAY FLETCHER – Much sympathy is felt with Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Fletcher, of 14, Griffith-street, Rushden, in the sore trouble that has befallen them by the death of their youngest daughter, Miss Hilda May Fletcher, who passed peacefully away on Wednesday evening at the age of 17 years.  The late Miss Fletcher had been in poor health for some time past, but the care and attention of Dr. Greenfield had brought about an improvement in her condition. A sudden attack of influenza, contracted about a week ago, however, brought about a relapse which culminated in her decease.  The late Miss Fletcher, with her parents, attended the Park-road Baptist Church, and passed through the Sunday school of that place of worship.  The funeral will take place on Monday next.
