Mr. George William Flawn

Rushden Moor-road Spiritualist Church was founded at the home of Mr. George William Flawn (78), of 46 Washbrook-road, Rushden, who died in his sleep early on Saturday morning though he had been shopping in the town on Friday.

Mr. Flawn was the secretary and a trustee of the Spiritualist Church, worked for Messrs. John Cave and Sons for many years, and belonged to the Windmill Club. His wife died a few years ago, and there are no children.

The funeral took place at Rushden on Tuesday and was conducted by Mrs. Summerfield, of Kettering. Mrs. P. Panter (sister), Mrs. Bodfish (cousin), Mrs. Perkins (niece) and Mrs. Ralston (friend) were the mourners. There were wreaths from the Spiritualist Church, Windmill Club, Earl Fitzwilliam Lodge of Oddfellows, and relatives and friends.

Messrs. T. Swindall and Sons were the undertakers.
