Well known in the area as a plastering contractor, Mr Fred Fentiman, of 55, St. Mary's Avenue. Rushden, died on Sunday. He was aged 61, and came to Rushden about 21 years ago from London.

His wife Mrs. Ethel Louise Fentiman, carries on a business at The Hall Stores. Also bereaved are Mr. R. Fentiman (son), Mrs. R. Miller and Mrs. D. Adams, South Africa (daughters).

The funeral took place on Thursday, when a service at the cemetery chapel was conducted by the Rector of Rushden (the Rev. E. A. Green).
