After a long illness, Mr Caleb Frank Fairey died at 69 Harborough-road, Rushden, on Thursday, August 31^st only six months after the death of his wife and within two days of his 70^th birthday.

Mr. Fairey was a native of Olney, Bucks, and had lived in Rushden for 46 years. He was for many years an insurance agent for the Refuge Assurance Company, retiring 12 years ago.

The funeral took place on Saturday, the service being conducted by the Rev. R. P. Jones, of the Park-road Baptist Church.
