The funeral service of Mr. William Ellis Espin, 1 Queen Street, Rushden, who died in Park Hospital, Wellingborough, took place last Thursday at Rushden Cemetery Chapel. He was 69. Mr. Espin was born at Higham Ferrers and served during the First World War as a soldier. He opened a cycle shop in Queen Street, Rushden, in 1925, but five years later had to give up owing to ill health. The shop is now kept by his wife Mrs. Evelyn Espin, and son, Mr. Ivor Espin. Bereaved are his widow, son, daughter, Mrs. Doreen Bishop, and two grandchildren, Paul and Keith. The funeral service was followed by interment at Rushden cemetery. |
