Mr. John Driver

Obituary – Mr. John Driver, aged 67, of Wellingborough Rod, Rushden, whose death occurred on Sunday from a complication of troubles, was the father of two sons who have made marked progress as ministers. The Rev. William J. Driver, of Jamaica, spent the greater part of last summer on holiday at home in Rushden. He has for years done a great missionary work as Moravian minister in Jamaica. His brother, the Rev. George F. Driver, is head of a Wesleyan cause at Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The late Mr. J. Driver was born at Grendon and lived for 40 years at Higham Ferrers and for the past five years at Rushden. Besides the two sons there are six daughters to mourn their loss. The funeral took place yesterday at the Cemetery, Rushden, the Rev. C. J. Keeler, officiating. Mr. Arthur Sanders carried out the funeral arrangements.
