Death of Mr. B. Dickens

Mr. Benjamin Dickens died at his home, 158 Irchester Road, Rushden, on Tuesday, aged 84. He came to Rushden from Riseley at the age of 15, and worked for Robert Marriott Ltd. (builders) as a foreman bricklayer for many years.

Mr. Dickens had been cared for by his daughter Mrs. I. Williams, since the death of his wife, Mrs. May Catherina Dickens, in 1930.

A funeral service will be held at Kettering Crematorium on Saturday. Those bereaved with Mrs. Williams, are his two sons, Mr. S. Dickens and Mr. A. Dickens, and grandson Mr. W. Dickens.
