Obituary Notices

Respected Residents Pass Away

Mr David Desborough

Rather suddenly the death occurred on Saturday at 43 Crabb-street, of Mr David Desborough, aged 52. The deceased, a native of Wymington, had lived in Rushden from infancy. On Sunday week he went as usual to stoke the furnaces at Messrs. Green and Coe's factory, and unfortunately caught a chill on his return. Influenza set in, developing to bronchitis and pneumonia. Deceased had worked at Messrs. Green and Coe's for the past nine years. The relatives have received from the firm a letter expressing the high appreciation which they and the fellow workers felt for the deceased and their sympathy with the bereaved family.

The interment took place on Tuesday conducted by the Rev. C J Keeler. The funeral arrangements were made by Mr T Swindall.
