The Late Mrs. W. H. Darnell
Funeral at Rushden

The interment of the late Mrs. Darnell, wife of Mr. W. H. Darnell, Church-street, Rushden, took place at the cemetery on Saturday morning. The cortege left the residence at 11.30, and proceeded to the cemetery. The Rector (Ven. Arthur Kitchin) officiated.

The chief mourners were :- Mr. W. H. Darnell (husband), and Miss Jessie Darnell (daughter), Messrs. Fred, Cyril, and Harry Darnell (sons); Mrs. J. E. Mustill (daughter), Northampton, and Mr. Mustill (son-in-law); Mr. James Willmott and Mr. Arthur Willmott (brothers); Mrs. J. Clayton, Mrs. J. Brown, Mrs. Joseph Sears, and Mrs. Edwards (sisters), Mrs. Joseph Knight and Mrs. F. S. Knight (sisters-in-law), Mr. David Darnell (father-in-law).

The coffin bore on the breastplate the inscription:-

EMMA DARNELL,
Died June 21st,1910,
Aged 58 years.

The wreaths bore the following inscriptions :-

In loving memory of my dear wife, from her sorrowing husband.

To our dear mother, from her sorrowing children, Fred, Jessie, Cyril, and Harry.

To our dear mother, with fondest love, from Flo and Ted.

In fondest remembrance from her brothers and sisters.

In loving remembrance from Jane, Annie, and Grandad.

For my dear Nanna, with love, from Ronnie.

In loving memory from E. M. and M. Clayton.
