Members of the Mothers Union were among the number of friends who attended the funeral service of Mrs. Ella Colton, at Rushden St. Mary’s Church on Tuesday afternoon.
Mr. Colton, the wife of Mr. William Colton, of 26, Wellingborough Road, Rushden, died in hospital at Wimbledon a week ago. She was a member of the St. Mary’s Church and the Mothers’ Union.
The service was conducted by the Curate (the Rev. John Boatright) with Mr. R. B. Jephcote at the organ.

Glenn (cousin), Mr. F. Newell (brother-in-law), Mrs. H. Robinson (cousin), and Mrs. S. Robinson (sister-in-law) with Mrs. C. Page (friend).
The Mothers’ Union was represented by Mrs. W. Bettles, Mrs. L. Priestley, Mrs. Baker, Mrs. R. Whitworth, Mrs. Fletton, Mrs. B. Woods, Mrs. H. Clayton, Mrs. Barker, Mrs. W. Perch and Mrs. Hardwick.
