The Late Mr. Chester
Old Rushden Resident Passes Away

The funeral of the late Mr. Harry Chester, of Wolverton, who resided at Rushden for some 20 years, took place at Higham Ferrers on Tuesday amid general signs of sympathy and respect. The deceased gentleman, who represented Messrs. P. Phipps and Co., brewers, at Wolverton, had been unwell for some months, and was spending a holiday at Woburn Sands. He contracted a chill, and was taken worse. A specialist was called in, and an operation as performed, but the deceased passed peacefully away on August 10th.

'Stonehurst' became known as the 'Belgian House'
