William Cheney

Wellingborough News, 24th February 1883, transcribed by Kay Collins

INQUEST—An inquest was held on Wednesday evening, on the body of the infant son of William Cheney. The child, which was ten weeks old, was found in the bed in a dying state, and expired before medical aid was obtained. The jury returned a verdict of "Death from natural causes," and gave it as their opinion that the parents were to blame for not obtaining medical aid.
