DEATH OF OLD RUSHDEN NATIVE The death took place on Saturday of Mrs Mary Campion, aged 83, at the home of her daughter, at 147, Queen-street, Rushden. Deceased’s husband, Mr Campion, died about 12 years ago, both were natives of Rushden, Mr Campion being a member of the Zion Chapel, of which he was a regular attendant up to the time of his death. Mrs Campion had been away from the town for a time, but returned last September. She lived a very quiet and reserved life, not taking any active part in public affairs. She took to her bed in the last week of September, 1918, death supervening from old age. The funeral took place on Wednesday, at the cemetery, the Rev. RC Law officiating.
