Mrs Mary Brown

The death occurred yesterday week, at the age of 77 years of Mrs. Brown, wife of Mr. George Brown, of 6, John-street, Rushden. She had been an invalid since 1915. Born at Dean, she came to Rushden on her marriage. The funeral was on Saturday, and a service at the Parish Church, where Mrs. Brown was for many years a devoted attendant, was conducted by the Rev. T. S. Stoney (Rector), assisted by the Rev. S. S. Black (curate). The family mourners were Mr. George Brown (husband) and Mrs. A.Pettitt (daughter), Mr. G. E. Brown and Mrs. A. Starmer (son and daughter), Mr. and Mrs. J.S.Brown (son and daughter-in-law), Mr. F.Brown (grandson) and Mrs. G. E. Brown (daughter-in-law), Mrs. G. E. Brown (daughter-in-law), Mrs. S. Denton and Mrs. A. Denton (sisters-in-law), a daughter, Mrs. W. S. King and a son, Mr. Reg. Brown, are in Canada. Wreaths were sent by “Her sorrowing husband and son Reg”; Tot, Alf, Ed, and Sylvia; Ella and Stan, Winnipeg; Jack and Maud, Mr. and Mrs. Fletton, Ethel Arthur and family, Bedford; Ted, Ada, Lil and Frank, All at Northampton, M. E. Denton, Walter and Lizzie, Stanwick. Sister Ellen and family; Mrs. G. L. Mason, Mrs. Scroxton, Marjorie and Doll, Mr. and Mrs. Clayton, Mr. & Mrs. H.
