The death occurred on Wednesday of Mrs Sarah Jane Britten, wife of Mr James Britten, baker, of 50 Grove-road, Rushden, at the age of 67 years. Mrs Britten was a native of Kettering, but had lived in Rushden for many years. She had had a long illness, but the end came rather suddenly. Besides the husband, two sons and one daughter are left. One of the sons has been missing since the fall of Java. The funeral will take place at 2p.m. to-day (Friday).
