Obituary - Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Barker, wife of Mr. John Barker, of 26, Oakley-road, Rushden, passed away on Sunday. Aged 61, Mrs. Barker had been in ill-health for three years. A native of Higham Ferrers she had lived in Rushden since 1908, and was a member of the Women’s Section of the British Legion, her husband being a committee member of the men’s branch. Besides the husband, one son and two daughters are left Warrant Officer George Barker, R.A.F., Mrs. M. B. Benning and Mrs. G. Curtis. The funeral was on Wednesday, the Rev. Joseph Jacques, of Rushden Mission Church, conducting a service at the Rushden cemetery. The mourners were:- Mr. J. H. Barker (husband), Mr. and Mrs. R.
