The funeral took place on April 20th, of Albert Edward Woods. The Rev. S. Smith, of Wellingborough, conducted the service, which was held at the Cemetery, and at which a number of relations and friends attended. The coffin was of polished elm with white fittings, and bore the inscription:
ALBERT EDWARD WOODS
Died April 17th, 1916
Aged 7 years.
Mr. and Mrs. Woods, of 86 Wellingborough-road, Rushden, desire to thank all kind friends who extended sympathy to them in the loss of their son, Albert Edward Woods, aged 7, who died on Monday, April 17th, 1916.
