Rushden Echo, 22nd August 1930, transcribed by Kay Collins
Mrs. Sarah Seckington

The town has received with much regret the news that Mrs. Sarah Seckington, widow of the late Mr. Jonathan Seckington, died on Wednesday evening at her home in Woburn-place. Aged 74, Mrs. Seckington had for some years been in failing health, but her end came somewhat suddenly. Like her husband who was familiar to everybody as a postman of many years’ service, she was greatly respected in the town. Mr. Harry Seckington, seedsman and florist, of High-street is the only son. The funeral took place today.
