Mr. Frank King 1933

The funeral of the late Mr. Frank King, who died at his residence, 129, Glassbrook-road, Rushden, on Tuesday week, took, place at Rushden on Friday last.

Mr. King was 41 years of, age, and had been ill for over five years. When he came out of Rushden Sanatorium four years ago, he took a considerable part in the work of R.A.O.B., which culminated in the installation of a radiogram for the use of patients in the Sanatorium. He was a native of Rushden, and was a member of the British Legion, the R.A.O.B., and the Windmill Club and Institute.

He leaves a wife, who keeps the general stores in Glassbrook-road, and two children, Doreen and Christine King.

The Rev. E. B. Bromage conducted the service at the Wellingborough-road Mission Church and at the graveside.

The mourners included Mrs. King (widow), Miss Doreen King (daughter), Mr. D. King (father), Mrs. Harbour, Mr. Fred King, Mrs. Bryant, Mrs. Wiggins, Mrs. Parker, Mrs. Thompson, Mrs. Garley (brothers and sisters), Mrs. King, Mr. H. Thompson, Mr. H. Wiggins, Mr. and Mrs. C. Tolman (brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law), Mr. and Mrs. W. Bunting (mother-in-law and father-in-law), and Mr. E. Seal. Mr. E. Bennett represented the Rushden Branch of the British Legion, Mr. Wheeler and Mr. Shatford, the R.A.O.B., and Mr. Haddon and Mr. Wilby, the Windmill Club and Institute.
