Mrs. R. Holley, Rushden

Mrs Ruth Holley, widow of Mr. Walter Holley, of 27, Fitzwilliam-street, Rushden, passed away on Thursday, March 16^th after several years’ illness. Aged 75 years, she was a lifelong resident of the town and for long periods was associated with the Congregational Church, the League of Nations Union and the Rushden Labour Party. 

Her husband, who died in 1938, was local chairman of the National Deposit Friendly Society.

One son, at present serving with the  Royal Engineers, and one daughter are left.
