After several years of illness Mrs Mary Ann Haseldine, wife of Mr Alfred Haseldine, passed away early on Thursday morning at her home, 75, Portland-road, Rushden. She was 82 years of age and, though born at Alconbury, Hunts., had spent the greater part of her life in Rushden. For some years she associated herself with B.W.T.A.U. work, and to the end she was a member of the Park-road Baptist Church.

Her husband, who survives her, was local secretary of the National Deposit Society until his retirement last year. There are two children, Mr Wilfred Haseldine, of Rushden, and Mrs F. A. Berwick, of Stanwick.

The funeral will take place on Saturday with a service in the house at 1p.m.
