Mr. Sidney Brawn

OBITUARY: The death took place last Wednesday week of Mr. Sidney Brawn, of 116 Harborough Road, at the age of 27 years, after a long illness. Deceased leaves a widow to mourn her loss. The funeral took place last Saturday in the cemetery, the Rev. P. Robson (Rector) officiating. The coffin was of polished elm with brass fittings and bore the inscription:

SIDNEY BRAWN
Died April 5th, 1916
Aged 27 years

The mourners comprised Mrs. Brawn (widow) and Mr. Brawn (father), Mrs. B. Brawn (mother) and Mr. G. Brawn (brother), Mr. F. Brawn (brother) and Mrs. C. Mitchell (sister), Miss Florrie Brawn (sister) and Mr. C. Mitchell (brother-in-law), Mr. and Mrs. W. Livingstone (brother-in-law and sister-in-law), Mrs. R. Skinner (sister-in-law) and Mrs. Glidle (friend).

The undertakers were Messrs. Clark and Sanders. A number of wreaths were place on the grave, including one from the neighbours, and an artificial wreath from the employees of Messrs. A. Allebone and Sons where deceased was formerly employed.

Mrs. Brawn and the immediate relatives of the late Mr. Brawn desire to thank all who have sympathized with them in their bereavement.


We belive this to be Sidney Brawn - but cannot be certain.
