Neal – Cheney
A Rushden Wedding in Australia

The marriage took place on Saturday, August 26th, of Miss Anne Ellen Cheney, eldest daughter of Mr. John Cheney, formerly of Duck-street, Rushden, to Mr. Bert Arthur Neal, son of Mr. Arthur Neal, of Wellingborough-road, Rushden. The bride was dressed in white silk trimmed with orange blossom, and wore a bridal veil. The bridesmaids were dressed in white silk, with hats to match. The bride was given away by her father. Mr. G. Neal acted as best man. About sixty guests assembled at the wedding, which was kept at the bride’s former residence. The bride and bridegroom were the receivers of many lovely presents.
