Mr and Mrs Albert Minney
Golden Wedding


  Mr. and Mrs. Albert Minney, of 4, Ebenezer-terrace, Newton-road, Rushden, celebrated their golden wedding last Saturday.  They were married on August 5th, 1894 at Yardley Hastings, Mr. Minney being a native of that village and his bride hailing from Chelveston.

  Since marriage they have resided in Rushden continuously, and Mr. Minney, well-known as a boot repairer, is a member of the Athletic and Band Clubs.

  Mr. Minney is 72 and his wife (nee Miss Mary Clark) is two years younger.  The son, Trooper Gordon Minney, is in Normandy, and there is also a daughter, Mrs. Wilson, of St. Margaret’s-avenue, Rushden.  The only grandchild, Pte. Joan Wilson, A.T.S., is stationed in London.
