Middleton – Pack

Married May 19 1934
Mr Edwin Henry Middleton, son of Mr and Mrs W H Middleton, of 59 Higham-road Rushden, was married at St Peter's Church, Rushden, on Saturday to Miss Iris Marjorie Pack, the only daughter of Mr and Mrs W H Pack, of 77 Moor-road.

The bridegroom, who is in the Higham Methodist Choir, was formerly in the Rushden Choral Society.

The vicar (the Rev P Barwell Spriggs) officiated. The Bride who was given away by her uncle, Mr James Penny, was attired in an ankle-length dress of blue with hat to match, and she carried a bouquet of tea roses.

She had one attendant, Miss Gladys Holley, who wore a dress of blue phantom cloth, and held a bouquet of pink chrysanthemums. Mr Tom Daniels was best man.

After the reception at home of the bride’s parents Mr and Mrs Middleton left for a honeymoon in Matlock, the bride travelling in a fawn costume.

Their future address will be ‘Roystone’, Washbrook-road, Rushden.
