Rushden Echo, 14th July 1916, transcribed by Kay Collins
WeddingMiss Lizzie Throssell was married at St. Mary’s Church, Rushden, on Wednesday, to Mr. A. E. Massom, of Irthlingborough. The bride was given away by her brother, Mr. Herbert Throssell. Mr. J. Throssell carried out the duties of best man. The bride was tastefully attired in a dress of grey watered silk, and was attended by her sister, Miss Daisy Throssell, who was attired in a dress of blue watered silk. A reception was afterwards held at the bride’s home, and later the happy pair left for London. The presents were numerous and costly.
