Rushden Echo, 8th December 1922, transcribed by Kay Collins
Loasby - Mepham

The wedding took place quietly on Saturday, at Kettering, of Miss Rhoda ("Doll") Mepham, only daughter of Mr and Mrs J R Mepham, of 103 Cromwell-road, Rushden, to Mr Harry Loasby, eldest son of Mr and Mrs Austin Loasby, of Kettering. Mr Mepham gave his daughter away. She was attired in mole-coloured crepe-de-chine and a hat to match, and carried a bouquet of white chrysanthemums and narcissi. Attending as bridesmaid, Miss G Bateman, friend of the bride, wore a brown gabardine costume and a hat to match. A reception was afterwards held at the bride's home. Mr and Mrs Mepham have for some years carried on a laundry business in Rushden.
