Rushden Echo, 7th August, 1914, transcribed by Gill Hollis
Knibbs – Lett

A quiet wedding took place on Saturday at St. Mary’s Church, Miss Alice Louisa Lett, youngest daughter of Mrs. Lett, of Pratt-road, Rushden, and Mr. James Knibbs, fourth son of Mr. William Knibbs, of Keystone, Hunts, being the contracting parties. The officiating clergyman was the Rev. P. E. Robson, Rector. The bride was neatly costumed in grey cloth, and was given away by Mr. Isaac James Whitworth. Miss Lizzie Smith, cousin of the bride, and Miss Minnie Knibbs, cousin of the bridegroom, were in attendance as bridesmaids. Each was becomingly dressed in white silk. The duties of best man were ably carried out by Mr. Benjamin Knibbs, cousin of the bridegroom. After the ceremony a reception was held at the residence of the bride.
