The marriage took place on Monday morning at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Rushden, by the Rev. Father Lockie, of Mr. Edward Keeley, only son of Mr. Keeley, of Bakewell, to Miss Margaret Emma Cross, who for some time past has been portress at the Rushden Midland Railway station.  The bride, who was given away by her cousin, Mr. W. Granger, of Burton Latimer, wore a smart navy blue costume with green velour hat.  She also wore a gold bangle, the gift of the bridegroom.  There were two bridesmaids, viz., Miss Keeley (sister of the bridegroom), who wore a bluish-grey costume with violet velour hat, and Miss Diamond (friend of the bride), who was attired in a plum-coloured costume with blue hat.  The best man was Mr. Baines.  A reception was subsequently held at 8, Westbourne-grove, Rushden, where the newly-married couple will reside on their return from the honeymoon, which is being spent at Blackpool.  The bridegroom is a clerk in the M.R. goods’ office at Rushden.
