Rushden Echo & Argus, 13th May 1932, transcribed by Kay Collins
Jarvis – Bozet

A pretty wedding took place at St Peter’s Church on Saturday, when the Vicar, the Rev P Barwell Spriggs, officiated at the marriage of Miss Irene Bozet, the adopted daughter of Mr and Mrs Bozet, of 4, Tennyson Place, and Mr Thomas Jarvis, the son of Mr and Mrs W Jarvis, of 14, Brooks-road, Raunds.

The bride was attired in a powder blue crepe-de-chine dress, with hat and shoes to match. Her bouquet consisted of pink carnations, while the bouquet of her bridesmaid was similar. The bride was given away by her grandfather, Mr H Bozet, and Miss Hilda Whitney was the bridesmaid.

The reception was held at the bride’s home, about forty guests being entertained. The bride was given a present of silver forks and knives by her fellow workers from the Co-operative boot factory.
