A quiet but pretty wedding was solemnised on Saturday at the Congregational Church, Wellingborough. The contracting parties were Miss Constance Winifred Stacey, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Stacey, of 8, Orchard-place, Rushden, and Mr. Ben Hinde, second son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Hinde, of 7, North-street, Rushden. The Rev. E. M. Drew conducted the service. The bridegroom is a well-known member of the Rushden Temperance Band, with which he has been associated for some time.
The bride was becomingly attired in a brown serge costume with hat to match. She was attended by one bridesmaid, Miss May Harris, who wore a dress of corded plush with hat to match. Mr. Walter Wilmott (brother-in-law of the bride) officiated as best man, and gave the bride away.
After the ceremony a reception was held at the bride’s home. There were some very handsome presents, amongst them being the following :-

Mr. and Mrs. J. Hinde – pair of pictures.
Mr. and Mrs. H. Chambers, Derby – set of tea and dessert spoons.
Mr. and Mrs. W. Cave – pair of pictures.
Mr. and Mrs. G. Pack – set of jugs.
Miss F. Clayborn, Etweall – house linen.
Bride’s fellow employees at Mr. H. W. Chapman’s box manufactory – fancy table cover, white table cloth, pair of lace curtains, and mantel shelf cover.
