Harris – James

The wedding took place quietly at St Peter's Church, Rushden, yesterday (Thursday), of Mr. Arthur Reginald Harris, of the firm of Messrs. A. R. and J. R. Harris, leather dressers, Westfields, Higham Ferrers, to Miss Elsie Dora James, younger daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. James, of 5, Glassbrook-road, Rushden. The Rev. P. Barwell Spriggs officiated.

The bridegroom is the eldest son of Mr. and the late Mrs. Joseph Harris, of "Eynsford," Irchester-road, Rushden. Mr. Joseph Harris is a partner in the firm of Messrs. Harris Bros. (Rushden), Ltd.

The bride, who was given away by her father, was attended by Miss Frances Corby, and Mr. E. Harris (brother of the bridegroom) was best man.
