The marriage was solemnised on Saturday at the Wesleyan Methodist Church, Higham Ferrers, of Pte. Walter Hall, of the Northants Regiment, only son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Hall, of 12, East-grove, Rushden, to Miss Elsie Marguerite Fox, seventh daughter of Mr. F. G. Fox, of 32, College-street, Higham Ferrers.  The Rev. C. Borman officiated.  The bride was given away by her father, and was effectively gowned in white silk, with bridal veil and wreath of orange blossom.  She carried a choice bouquet of roses and carnations, and wore a gold chain and pendant, the gifts of the bridegroom.  There were two bridesmaids, viz., Miss Beatrice Fox (sister of the bride), who wore a pretty dress of pale mauve luvisca, and Miss Carrie Capps (friend of the bride) who was charmingly gowned in pale blue luvisca.  Both bridesmaids wore putty coloured hats, and carried bouquets of roses, asters, and carnations, the gifts of the bridegroom.  They wore souvenir brooches inscribed “Ypres and Arras,” also the gifts of the bridegroom.  The duties of best man were ably carried out by Mr. Arthur Bell, who has been twice wounded and is now discharged from the Army.  Mr. Bell, whose home is at Castle Donington, was formerly a patient at the Higham Auxiliary Hospital.  Subsequent to the ceremony a reception was held at the bride’s home.  Pte. and Mrs. Hall were the recipients of a large number of handsome presents, including a tablecloth and tea-cloths from the girls of Messrs. West Bros’ closing room, where the bride had been employed up to the time of her marriage.  The bride was for a number of years a Sunday school teacher and a member of the choir at the Higham Ferrers Wesleyan Church.  The Bridegroom, prior to enlistment, was a member of St. Mary’s Church choir, Rushden, and also of the Rushden Town Male Choir.  He was also a member of the Rushden Church Lads’ Brigade for six years and for two years assistant scoutmaster of the 1^st Rushden troop of Boy Scouts.  Enlisting in October, 1915, he has spent about three years on the Western front, and returns to-morrow after 14 days’ leave.
